I was really hesitant to share this photo, but I feel this is one of the actual first 'moments' that I've ever captured. As a photographer, I think it's important to photograph beautiful things and things that inspire you. Photographing real life is also very important. This includes all the highs and lows, the good, the bad and the ugly, true vulnerability, love and fear, gain and loss, the whole spectrum.
While visiting my great grandmother today with my family, we asked her if she would like us to get her some ice cream. Her eyes became the widest they have been in days of being stuck on a hospital bed. She ate so much chocolate ice cream, more than I thought possible!! She loves chocolate so much.
I am so grateful for having a great grandmother that I've been able to spend so much time with over my 21 years of being alive. I will always love her for her extreme stubbornness, her smart-ass wittiness, and her enthusiasm. Can't wait to tell you what ends up happening in Game of Thrones one day!
